We’re on Middle Ridge Road in Albion, just off Highway 1 on the Mendocino Coast. If you’re coming from the south on Highway 1, look for the Albion turnoff. Call ahead if you need specific directions — the approach is straightforward once you know it.
Who comes to the yard
Most of our customers are contractors and builders working throughout Mendocino County and down into Sonoma and Napa. They come to us for redwood lumber in grades they can’t find at a big-box store, for architectural beams that need to be a specific size, and for custom milling they can’t get done anywhere else nearby.
We also work with homeowners doing renovation or restoration — particularly people with older homes on the Mendocino Coast who need materials that match what’s already there. If you’re restoring a Victorian in Mendocino village or adding on to a craftsman in the hills, we can match the profiles and species. It’s exactly the kind of problem we’re set up to solve.
And occasionally — not often, but it happens — woodworkers come from further away for our old-growth material. The grain is something you can’t replicate anywhere else. If that’s you, call first so we can make sure we have what you’re looking for.
